Hi, I’m Aaron Olson.
I started this blog to educate you about the science of alcohol testing.
I’m an expert in breath, blood, and urine alcohol testing.
I have 15 years of experience working in public and private forensic toxicology labs.
My work includes working for the Minnesota State Crime Lab—the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA). While at the BCA, I analyzed alcohol in blood, breath, and urine.
I’ve been trained to maintain, operate, and certify the DataMaster DMT breath alcohol analyzer.
I’ve testified in court more than 70 times, taught the DataMaster DMT Operator Training course to officers in MN, and calibrated, maintained, and certified the DMT in the lab.
I am available to testify in forensic alcohol cases. I’ll look at your case to ensure the proper science was followed.
