Interfering Substances Can Push Driver's Breath Alcohol Over The Legal Limit

I analyzed a large dataset of breath samples from MN drivers. Turns out, many had substances on their breath that pushed them over the legal limit.

I was recently given a large dataset from an MN data practice request. I looked at the raw filter values recorded by the DMT from MN drivers near the 0.16 legal threshold.

By analyzing the filter values, I determined that small amounts of interfering substances sometimes tipped the scale, pushing drivers over the 0.16 legal threshold and causing drivers to recieve additional legal penalties.
