I’ve worked in forensic toxicology labs for the past 15 years. For the last 5 of those years, I’ve worked at the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) in their breath alcohol lab.

As part of my duties, I testified, taught police officers how to use the breathalyzer, and calibrated the breathalyzer (DMT) in the lab.

I’ll be writing about the science behind alcohol testing and the potential issues that may come up in court.
